The Red Apple Program: Honor a Teacher
The Red Apple Program is a meaningful way for parents and students to show their appreciation for a teacher or staff member by making a gift to the Wellesley Education Foundation in his or her name. It's a wonderful opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication of the educators and staff members of our school district. Giving a Red Apple Gift is easy – Just click the Honor a Teacher Today button below, select the teachers that you want to honor, and make a donation. There is no minimum donation amount, and you may honor up to 10 teachers with a single donation (donations are not charged per teacher).
Each teacher/staff member that you choose to honor will receive a letter noting your recognition and a magnet they can display in their classroom. Teachers love this visible reminder that a family has honored their contributions in the classroom and beyond.

What's the WEF Impact? The funds raised from Red Apple go towards the WEF grants program for next year. The grants have a tremendous impact – over $2.3 million has been awarded in grants over the past 10 years, benefiting every student in the District. When you give a Red Apple gift, you are paying tribute to your child's teacher(s) while simultaneously supporting innovative educational programs.
