Our Mission

Through events such as the annual WEF Spelling Bee and the STEM Expo, and charitable giving programs like Red Apple teacher recognitions, year after year, WEF harnesses the generosity of the greater Wellesley community to drive student curiosity and teacher creativity, fostering a genuine love of learning for all.

For over 30 years, WEF has underwritten grants to educators that further innovation and excellence in our schools. With the loyal support of our donors and volunteers, over $2.3 million has been awarded in the last 10 years to sponsor programs and initiatives that inspire the love of learning in the Wellesley Public Schools.
