Red Apple Program
The Red Apple Program is a meaningful way for parents and students to show their appreciation to a teacher or staff member through a gift to the Wellesley Education Foundation in their name. Last year, WEF funded grants totaling over $150,000, thanks to the generosity of Wellesley parents. Your donation supports WEF’s grants to educators in the Wellesley Public Schools to explore new instructional methods and implement valuable enrichment programs for students. Like all donations to WEF, your contribution is tax deductible.Your honoree(s) will receive a Red Apple thank you e-card that includes your child’s name (but not the amount of your gift). You may also choose to print out a Red Apple thank you card for your son or daughter to deliver personally to his or her teacher(s).
When you give a Red Apple gift, you are paying tribute to your child’s teacher(s) while simultaneously supporting innovative educational programs.

Donation form for the Red Apple Program
We are excited to offer the Red Apple program online! Please be aware of a few minor changes from the paper format:
- For each online transaction, you may specify one Red Apple giver (a student name or a family name.) You may still select multiple educators to honor.
- If you have several children wishing for to honor their teachers individually, please make donations in separate transactions for each student.
