Pave the Plaza at the New Wellesley High School
The countdown has begun to the Spring 2012 dedication of the new Wellesley High School. To celebrate this historic occasion, WEF, along with the Wellesley Celebrates Education Committee, is offering you the opportunity to build on the continued excellence of the high school through a commemorative brick program.
For $125 you can engrave a brick with a personalized message.
Celebrate a former or current student. Honor a teacher, coach, or administrator. Remember your family or high school class. Send a message to future students. Commemorate a special event. Pay tribute to your favorite Raider team.
- All bricks will be used to pave the plaza near the new front entrance (alongside bricks from previous WHS fundraisers) during completion of the high school grounds in late Summer 2012. Your personalized brick will play an important role in supporting future Wellesley High School students: all net proceeds will be placed in a restricted WEF fund created specifically to support the needs of the new school. WEF is a 501(c)3 organization and the full purchase price of $125 is tax deductible.
- Only a limited number of bricks will be made available for engraving and sales end on December 31, 2011, or until all bricks are sold. We anticipate extremely high demand – to avoid disappointment of being left out, order your personalized brick now.
- An engraved brick in the new WHS Plaza is a lasting tribute to the high school and will help pave the way to continuing excellence and innovation in Wellesley Public Schools. Thank you.
